“ I love the Elk! It's my favorite local coffee shop. The lines can definitely be a little long on the weekends, but it's worth the wait - the cold brew coffee, breakfast burritos, and pumpkin loaf are just delicious! Kris keeps the line in order and Nona keeps calm amidst the many coffee orders. Always appreciate the opportunity to support a local coffee shop. ”
“ Amazing place. Very cool atmosphere. Very good speciality coffee and maybe one of the best breakfast burittos I have ever eaten. 10/10 would recommend ”
“ The Elk is located in a quiet area of Charles St in the west village, to the west of 8th ave, and has a nice wooden outdoor seating area. There is a high quality selection of local sandwiches, coffees, teas, mineral waters, fresh pressed juices , and options of vegan, gluten-free and low sugar fresh baked goods from Balthazar and bakeries in Brooklyn. ”
“ THE ELK is THE spot. Serving up amazing coffee, breakfast all day, and a delicious lunch menu make this one of my favorite cafes in the west village. Even T Swift has mentioned she loves this place. I decided to switch it up on my last visit and try something off the drink special menu. I went with the Cinn-Full latte and it was incredible. The espresso, cinnamon and honey combo was perfect and dangerously delicious. I added a cheddar chive scone and it was SO good. ”
“ My girlfriend suggested this place as our meeting spot she wanted to check it out after seeing it on Instagram. I’m not exactly sure what she ordered, but it was something with “cloud” in it. The drink wasn’t really my thing it felt a bit confusing, like it couldn't decide if it wanted to be a coffee or a sweet dessert drink. So, 4 stars for the drink, but the atmosphere? Definitely a 5. Great vibe overall. As for the service, I can’t really give it a full rating since my girlfriend was the one who placed the order. ”
“ Yogurt was good. I'll not recommend their iced matcha latte. ”
“ This little rustic haven is one of my favorite coffee shops in the city. It has a nice, chill ambience with good music, the coffee is great and the food is simple yet fresh. The Elk has some home and lifestyle items for sale, too, making it a truly great neighborhood destination. ”
“ I tried their specialty Cin-Full, their ice drinks were pretty good. Not much seating, more like take and go for a walk but I like the coffee, absolutely go! ”
